Trips and Tours

Each year the Guilford Garden Club has an informal tour of the gardens of members who have offered to be on the tour. Below are a few of the gardens included on recent tours.

Saturday, September 27, 2008: Boscobel and Caramoor House in the Historic Hudson River Valley. Beautiful homes, gardens, views! Luncheon is included. Cost: $139, $136 senior. To reserve your space call AAA Nina Luppe (203) 315-3723. Mention GGC and Becky Paul. Call Becky with questions.

Saturday, October 11, 2008: Osbourne Homestead Museum and Kellogg Environmental Center in Derby, CT - one of Connecticut's 11 Historic Homes. Car Pool from Exit 58. Time TBD. Call Becky

Thursday, October 16, 2008: 12:30 pm VNA Post Road, Guilford. "The History of Floral Design" . A formal presentation with abstracts and photos of each design type prepared by the Massachusetts Federation. Bring your lunch and a dessert to share. There is a kitchen available for our use. Saturday, November 8, 2008: "Just for Fun" Culinary Institute of America. Lunch at the CIA French Escoffier Restaurant and a trip to the beautiful West Point Academy grounds. Call AAA at (203)315-3723. Cost $109.
